Once again this year, we had the chance to participate in the 15th edition of the DJWE: Doha Jewelery and Watches Exhibition held in Qatar and more precisely at the Doha Exhibition and Conference Center from 21 to 26 February 2018. We were able once again to introduce our world to other enthusiasts and share exceptional moments with them!

DJWE 2018: review

For this new edition, the show has once again kept all its promises. Indeed, all the biggest Haute-Joaillerie houses, the biggest watchmaking Manufactures, but also young and talented Qataris designers made the trip to present to the world their novelties and other innovations.

This show is the glamorous and chic rendez-vous of the watchmaking and jewelery world, but it also has the distinction of being open to the public from beginning to end. Everything is centered on the end consumer: unique experiences, purchase of precious pieces or even advice from professionals, the consumer is in its place on this show. DJWE makes it possible to put before the unique know-how of the exhibitors who this year went to the number of 400.

Conclusion Objectif Horlogerie and OH Selection

Like last year, we offered several introductory workshops on watchmaking at our booth. And for this 15th edition, we exceeded our expectations with more than 200 workshops given during these 6 days. An intense and sustained rhythm which has brought us good meetings with the public but also with influencers such as Qatar Calendar, a site that lists all the major events in Qatar or Watch Anish, a passionate watch instagrammer who has a community of 1.7 million subscribers. He participated in one of our workshops.

In addition, we noticed that more and more women were interested in the world of watchmaking and more specifically in the operation of a watch movement. Indeed, we received more women than men on our stand.

During the show, the famous local newspaper Gulf Times gave us an article about our workshops that you can read or reread here. In addition, the Al Jazeera TV channel also took a few shots from our stand and our workshops. So we were more than happy that these different media devote their time to talk about us afterwards and had a great time during this event.

We would like to thank the whole team of the Salon but also the many participants who came to our stand for their support as well as their passion for Objectif Horlogerie and finally, our watchmakers for their professionalism, passion and availability!
